Moments is the fourth studio album from Finnish Record Producer and DJ Darude. It was released on August 14, 2015 through Warner Music Finland. His first album release in eight years,the album and its mixing of genres met with praise from music critics,with Dancing Astronaut writing that Darude steps outside the proverbial EDM box by toying around with a multitude of different styles, several of which appear simultaneously in each track.

Titled ‘Moments’, the new album is Finland’s biggest musical export fourth studio album, reflecting his longevity despite the changing times. Ranging in musical sounds and styles, Darude’s ability is once again proven filling the spectrum from big-room to trance to dubstep-infused depth, there’s a little something for every ear. With the title track Moments capturing his infectious sound, the is due to album sit well with his loyal audience and followers. Moments’ as an album, like so many of the current DJ/Producer’s, is more than just a collection of tracks.

Darude's most recent studio album, Moments, was his first full-length release in eight years. Guest artists included Caater and string band Apocalyptica, among others.

com/Moments (Darude album). Ville Virtanen (born 17 July 1975), better known by his stage name Darude /dəˈruːd/, is a Finnish electronic music producer and DJ from Eura, Hinnerjoki. He started making music in 1995 and released the platinum sellinghit single "Sandstorm" in late 1999.

At the age of 24 and at the height of the trance boom of the early 00’s Finnish DJ, artist, producer Ville Virtanen created the milestone single ‘Sandstorm’ under his pseudonym Darude. The track went on to become one of the biggest. The album would go on to go double Platinum in Finland and Gold in Canada. Worldwide sales to date are over 1 million units. The album was supported by a gruelling 9 month worldwide tour taking in Europe, Australasia and Asia.

I respect Darude and the new album, but let's face it, there is only one Sandstorm. A single work of art never to be topped. That is some serious money. It should be like concerts. You play a legendary song for oldschool fans and then present the new album.

Rudeboy' was shortened 'The Rude' and finally 'Da Rude', which was further combined 'Darude' for the logo when the first single 'Sandstorm' was released. Unlike many other dance music producers, Darude doesn't have a DJ background, though he DJs regularly these days. Before he started producing music, he was really into listening to music and going clubbing and that's where his "education" and wide taste in music comes from

Darude has his own label, but hasn’t dedicated much time to it while producing Moments. I asked him to tell me more about EnMass Music. EnMass Music is Randy Boyer and myself.
