Inside My Head is a two disc compilation album by Richard Marx, his tenth overall. It consists of songs from previous albums Emotional Remains and Sundown, new recordings of some of his biggest hits, as well as new material. The album features four new never before released songs: "Wouldn't Let Me Love You," "Like Heaven," "All Over Me," and "Scars. Wouldn't Let You Love Me" was released May 21, 2012 as the lead single.

This is not a new album. It does contain 4 new songs (Wouldn't Let Me Love You, Like Heaven, All Over Me and Scars). However as far the rest of them are concerned, if you have been following Mr Marx over the years you will have all of them in your collection already:
- 5 songs (Through My Veins, Come Running, Done To Me, Over My Head and Part Of Me) are taken from the 'Emotional Remains' album
- 2 songs (Always On Your Mind and Loved) are taken from the 'Sundown' album
- 2 songs (Had Enough and On The Inside) were included as extra tracks on the UK release of 'Stories to Tell'
- The entire 2nd CD was included on the US release of 'Stories to Tell' which also included a live DVD of his London show at Shepherd's Bush Empire a couple of years back
