BEFORE you listen to this album, you must realise its not like his earlier work (Mask down to Spiral, the Yamaha CS-80 albums) - this is Vangelis' first album where he delves into midi-like sounds, and he pulls it off perfectly. Some people state that it is dated, whereas I think its still a fresh take on his style of music, he even uses the Yamaha CS-80 on the majority of tracks. It sounds as if Vangelis may be playing over a continous sequence while he changes the sound that is played. The style is similar to his album Masks. There are two extra cuts on the CD that were not on the original album version of this recording. Dial Out isn’t very memorable, but fits on the album. Intergalactic Radio Station is annoying, and seems out of place.
