A fairly youthful "Rosemary Clooney" shining ever so brightly with the Christmas spirit, as her performances are enjoyable, basic, and true on this album. There is a very good choice of songs. Ms Clooney brings back a lot of happy memories with her voice.

After a long period of indifferent recordings in the 1960s and early '70s, Rosemary Clooney underwent a renaissance after she began recording regularly for Concord in 1977. Backed by swinging ensembles and encouraged to record songbooks and special projects involving superior songs, Clooney blossomed and her career regained its momentum, continuing into the late '90s
