Vinnum Sabbathi ~ Mexico Drone, Doom, Sludge and Heavy Shit. Vinnum Sabbathi is a band from México, created in 2011 by Alberto Tamayo. On May of the same year is released a Homemade Demo with 100 copies. Between December 2012 and January 2013 the band recorded the first part of the .

Before releasing their debut album "Gravity Works" in 2017, Mexican band Vinnum Sabbathi had released two album-length EPs and a split "Fuzzonaut" with German fuzz-stoner rock duo Bar de Monjas. The Mexicans lead off with three instrumental tracks of space exploration, two of them fairly long and separated by a brief interlude. The Ripper" is an enjoyable piece of poppy fuzz basherama with a heavy groove. Title track "Fuzzonaut" comes closer to doom than the other two tracks, with more sinister atmospheres, passages of trance-like ambient musing and a looser structure, and features quite a lot of runaway improvisational jamming. Altogether these tracks are very enjoyable with a solid, heavy sound (though it does seem generic doom, stoner, with hardly much that would distinguish Bar de Monjas from other bands in their genre) and a lot of enthusiasm.
