Complete your Rita Hart collection. To be a musician in the early 80's wasn't really easy task to accomplish. If you were at the time looking far beyond the horizon to the future and experimenting with brand new technology, you could have been assured that most of the people were just overlooking and dissing such new methods of making music and lamenting it just being that modern technology "shit sounds" as majority of the people weren't yet familiar enough with the. revolutionary digital technology as it was still up and coming.

To be a musician in the early 80's wasn't really easy task to accomplish. If you were at the time looking far beyond the horizon to the future and experimenting with brand new technology, you could have been assured that most of the people were just overlooking and dissing such new methods of making music and lamenting it just being that modern technology "shit sounds" as majority of the people weren't yet familiar enough with the revolutionary digital technology as it was still up and coming fashion. Rita Hart represents here soulful dance music but music that was caught by in the early 80's and migrated into a dance package using still back then somehow stiffy MIDI technology. The rhythm section is basically just one simple pattern of a beat running from the beginning till the end of a track and any other accompanying instrument is only the bass line which varies just a bit here and there for this otherwise by now in 2009 observed disco boogie piece a bit of a disappointment. All in all I wouldn't say this song is bad, far from it as it has good potential, but a squeamish listener definitely feels how two separate worlds collide in disaster, and where the vocals could have been better served rearranged and overdubbed differently with a proper conduction. Luckily on the flip side is to be found an instrumental boogie groove which features only a minimal snippets of parts from vocal mix and is definitely the one to select for the winner within this package.
