The In Crowd is a live album by the Ramsey Lewis Trio which was recorded in 1965 at the Bohemian Caverns nightclub in Washington . and released on the Argo label. The album provided Lewis with his biggest hit reaching the top position on the Billboard R&B Chart and No. 2 on their top 200 albums chart in 1965 and the single, "The 'In' Crowd" reaching No. 2 on the R&B Chart and No. 5 on the Hot 100 singles chart in the same year.

This is a vinyl record album by the ramsey lewis trio called "The in crowd", & IT'S on the cadet label in stereo, & was recorded 'live' at the bohemian caverns in washington, . IT Contains (7) mellow jazz tunes like: "The 'in' crowd, since I fell for you, tenn. Waltz, you been talkin' 'bout me baby, spartacus love theme, felicidade + come sunday". This is a relaxed gig from the Ramsey Lewis Trio from 1965 and an extremely enjoyable recording. But I have to say I don't agree with that.

Ramsey Lewis, drummer Isaac "Redd" Holt and bassist Eldee Young formed the Ramsey Lewis Trio. They started as primarily a jazz unit but after their hit, "The In Crowd", in 1965 (the single reached fifth place on the pop charts, and the album second place) the trio concentrated more and more on pop material. Young and Holt left in 1966 to form the Young-Holt Trio and were replaced by Cleveland Eaton and Maurice White.
