In keeping with the off-kilter atmosphere that’s come to characterize his works, Airplane Mode presents four tracks that would sound equally at home in a sci-fi thriller as they would on a packed dance floor  . The title track Airplane Mode summarizes the direction Substation has been heading in as of late. The elements in the song are untethered by any genre.
