Re:Call to Mind is an entirely different beast, traversing myriad styles and tempos in an attempt to break away from what, prior to the Autonomic bomb, had become an extremely restrictive milieu. Ironically, to the extent that it offers a comparably faithful picture of today's bass music underground, it succeeds. The lack of straight-up D&B will, no doubt, get up a few noses, but when you're in the business of remoulding the canon for the umpteenth time, that's hardly a concern.

This album needs no introduction. The massive anthems 'call to mind', 'satellite type 2' and 'how you gonna feel' are included. Every track is superb. My favourite though is 'Emily's smile'. The only downside is that 'talk to frank' isn't included. But nevertheless, all DNB heads shouldn't need encouragement to purchase this album. It should be automatic.

Metalheadz present the Marcel Dettmann, Sigha, Kassem Mosse, and Two Armadillos remixes of Commix on one mighty handsome double pack. If you missed out the Burial 12", then bully for you, but if you're of a future Techno/House persuasion this is basically "the sh t", as someone once said.
