Sound quality "disaster" (compared to the original): it's just a badly "rip" of the original vynil, poorly de-clicked then re-pressed. Worst of the worst, to mask the "double clicks" on surface (the one of the original pressing, declicked, and new one of the new pressing), they started the audio in the lead-in grooves. It's clearly audible in the side B because it has 1/4 of initial groove without audio, so just silence (= background noise) from record. In a word: DON'T BUY IT and hope for a decent repressing from original TAPE (like IDL), but of this GONG rework. As an (northern) Italian where most of the best italo/afro disco and gigs had it's home in the 80s, I'm disgusted of this "zero respect" of an Italian company shows for very our music. It's the first "La Discoteca" reissue I buy, but it will be also the last.

completely share this opinion. all records on this label sound "scratchy", as played many times, no remastering at all, narrowed stereo (lack of stereo panorama).. i wish dark entries or zyx gives this masterpiece a proper treatment..
