Wall Of The Eyeless WotE was formed in November of 2011 at Helsjön, Sweden by SL, who came to Sweden from Pskov, Russia, and met Simon there. Both of the band's demos received a lot of support from the press and the listeners alike, and were praised for their original sound and DIY approach. The band is not active since 2014. SL has a new art project, TØRRENTIAL. It is astonishing to me that Wall of the Eyeless are without a record deal. Their debut demo Through Emptiness received an amazing response and their follow up Wimfolsfestta is remarkable in its growth. Combining progressive elements with brutal death metal showcases a band that is ready to make the jump to the next level. The musicianship and songwriting are top notch. This album feels very ethereal, like gazing into the soul of the brightest star while soaring through space. Amazing while looking at the night sky. Primedot.
