Dinah Shore (born Fannye Rose Shore; February 29, 1916 – February 24, 1994) was an American singer, actress, and television personality, and the top-charting female vocalist of the 1940s. She rose to prominence as a recording artist during the Big Band era, but achieved even greater success a decade later, in television, mainly as hostess of a series of variety programs for Chevrolet. After failing singing auditions for the bands of Benny Goodman, and both Jimmy and Tommy Dorsey, Shore struck out on her own to become the first singer of her era to achieve huge solo success. Authoritative information about the hymn text Ten thousand times ten thousand, with lyrics, MIDI files, printable scores, and PDF files. 3 O then what raptured greetings On Canaan's happy shore; What knitting severed friendships up Where partings are no more! Then eyes with joy shall sparkle That brimmed with tears of late; Orphans no longer fatherless Nor widows desolate. 4 Bring near Thy great salvation, Thou Lamb for sinners slain; Fill up the roll of Thine elect, Then take Thy pow'r and reign.

Doin' What Comes Naturally - Dinah Shore. You don't have to know, How to read or write, When you're out with a feller, In the pale moonligt, You don't have to look, At a book to find, What he thinks of the moon, And what is on his mind, That comes naturally. My uncle out in Texas, Can't even write his name, He signs his checks with "X's", But they cash 'em just the same.

Ten Thousand Hours Lyrics  . Ten thousand hours felt like ten thousand hands Ten thousand hands, they carry me Ten thousand hours felt like ten thousand hands Ten thousand hands, they carry me.

A Thousand Miles" (originally titled "Interlude") is the debut single written and recorded by American pop singer Vanessa Carlton. Produced by Curtis Schweitzer and Ron Fair, the song was released as the lead single for Carlton's album Be Not Nobody (2002). Her signature song, it became Carlton's breakthrough hit and one of the most popular songs of the year. To date, it remains Carlton's biggest hit in the United States, and her only single to reach the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.

Ten Thousand Miles Away. Ten thousand miles away. So blow the winds, heigh-ho; A roving I will go, I'll stay no more on England's shore, So let the music play! I'll start by the morning train, To cross the raging main, For I'm on the move to my own true love, Ten thousand miles away. My true love, she is beautiful, My true love she is young
