Da King & I was a hip-hop duo composed of Izzy Ice and DJ Majesty, they were signed to Rowdy/Arista Records. Da King & I, the members of which include MC Izzy Ice (born Isidore Francois on April 17, 1972) and DJ Majesty (born Roderick Wiggins), signed with Rowdy Records in 1992 and were often compared to another MC-DJ duo, Pete Rock & CL Smooth. The duo first released their debut single, "Flip da Scrip" on November 24, 1992.
