The Rolling Stones' US Tour 1978 was a concert tour of the United States that took place during June and July 1978, immediately following the release of the group's 1978 album Some Girls. Like the 1972 and 1975 . tours, Bill Graham was the tour promoter. One opening act was Peter Tosh, who was sometimes joined by Mick Jagger for their duet "Don't Look Back".

Love Is Strong" is the opening track, and first single, by The Rolling Stones from their 1994 album Voodoo Lounge. It was moderately successful worldwide, peaking at number 14 in the band's native United Kingdom, number three in Norway, and number two in Canada but stalling at number 91 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Despite this, it still reached number two on the Billboard Album Rock Tracks chart.

Fingerprint File (1974). The Stones delved into Watergate-era paranoia on this post-Sly Stone funk workout, in which Jagger sings about "some little jerk in the FBI" with a stack of papers on him "six feet high. That’s How Strong My Love Is (1965). In 1965, as Otis Redding was covering "Satisfaction," the Stones cut a version of this Otis classic (originally recorded in 1964 by Memphis soul man . Why did the Stones call this album Some Girls? "Because we couldn't remember their fucking names," as Richards put it at the time. The title song remains one of the Stones' funniest moments, as Jagger sings about the hard work of womanizing, pursued by groupies who take his money and take his clothes. And it became even more infamous during the 1975 tour, when a 20-foot-tall penis was inflated alongside Jagger as he sang it.

Your love is strong, and you're so sweet You make me hard, you make me weak Love is strong, and you're so sweet And some day, babe, we got to meet. The lead single off The Rolling Stones’ 1994 album, Voodoo Lounge. The song is seen as a return to the Blues after various genre experiments during the 80s. The song features Mick Jagger singing in way most hadn’t heard him sing before.

A list of the top albums of the year from Rolling Stone (2000s). The album's fourteen tracks. are more tuneful and song-focused than 2000's Kid A or 2001's Amnesiac. It's a strange, category-evading rock record, a mystery disc of gravity and low humor, of punk aggression and love-bead contentment; when you try to nail down the band's personality, it won't stay still.
