Earth, Wind & Fire's Philip Bailey produced both of the Kinsman Dazz LPs, which is why "Catchin' Up on Love" (written by Bobby Harris ), sounds like Earth, Wind and Fire sideways, and backwards. Singing lead on the melodic mid-tempo floater was Wayne Preston, it was an immediate success, a scintillating guitar solo by Michael Calhoun Stewart, was like a cherry topping to the excellent production.
