An extended play record, often referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album or LP. Contemporary EPs generally contain a minimum of three tracks and maximum of six tracks, and are considered "less expensive and time-consuming" for an artist to produce than an album.

EP or Mini Album (Extended Play) – originally a record, on each side of which only 2-4 musical compositions with a total duration of sound of 15-20 minutes were placed. Initially, EP was called the 7-inch diameter vinyl record, recorded at 33⅓ RPM. This difference of speed with respect to the simple engraving at 45 RPM allowed it to have a longer duration (a maximum of 25 minutes, 12’30 per side) compared to the length of the single, whose maximum duration could not exceed 15 minutes.

In a continuing series of random reviews of tangential and forgotten singles... Well, low expectations always help. Dirt cheap, barely anyone wants it, can't be any good can it? It can. A side is too generic stomping looping disco house, you know the style (sheesh with all the genre nit-picking you would have thought this style would have its own clear designation). It's B1 and B2 that are worthy here (perhaps no one got past the A-side?). Firstly, "Outtasight," still a pretty stompy loopy groove, but it feels a bit more like something you might have heard on Cajual Records, and that's high praise. It has enough groove to break out of the limitations of the style. But then, lasers - ya, stompy Cajual with lasers, how can you not dig that? Afterglow is sweeter and softer, really quite nice. My only reservation being it seems to again use a sample from 'Glow Of Love' by Change, and we have definitely heard that a few times before. Still, it's nicely matched to the vocal sample and very listenable. Overall a nice surprise.
