The Young Italian Singing Sensation, Robertino Loreti. This is a beautiful album and it was when the singer was a child and he had an angelic voice. I grew up listening to these beautiful Italian classics.
Italian singer and actor Robertino Loretti (1946) is best known as 'The Young Italian Singing Sensation' of the early 1960’s. As a child star he appeared in Italian films, Danish and German films. Today he is still a living legend in Russia. Robertino was the nickname of Roberto Loreti (sometimes written as Loretti), born in Rome nearby the Cinecitta' Studios, in 1946. His family was poor, and when he was 10, his father fell sick and Robertino helped the family by delivering bakery products to restaurants. He enjoyed singing folk songs on his way and was noticed by people for his singing voice
He is still scheduled to perform, Elaine Christenson, a spokeswoman with Fallsview Casino, said Friday. In the late 1950s, when he was still a boy, Loreti became a singing sensation because of his powerful operatic tenor. He sang arias, recorded several albums and appeared in movies.
