Judy Collins - Fires Of Eden album flac

In 1990, Collins released the album Fires of Eden under Columbia Records. The album spawned one single - "Fires of Eden", written by Kit Hain and Mark Goldenberg. The single peaked at on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart. At the time of its release, Collins performed the song live on several occasions, including on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and The Joan Rivers Show. A music video promoting the song and featuring Collins was also released. Later, Cher recorded "Fires of Eden" for her 1991 album Love Hurts.

Fires Of Eden" is really an excellent record. Released in 1990 I recall I played the cd all the time for many months. Judy is really at the top of her game here. The Blizzard" is a wonderful song, and while I generally do not like 7 minutes songs-there are exceptions, and this is certainly one. "Test Of Time" is a song I have enjoyed for a long time now. "Home Before Dark" is equally a very compelling offering. I do like remakes and here Judy shines on "The Air That I Breathe" her voice takes the song to a whole new place  . I got the cd today and there is no indication it is the remastered version.

Judy Collins is an album by American folk singer Judy Collins released in 1963. It spent 10 weeks on Billboard's Top 150 album charts in 1964, peaking at on May 16. Jim (later Roger) McGuinn worked as an arranger and played guitar and banjo on the album. Fires of Eden takes place around the adventures of two different generations, a woman and her niece. The aunt's story is told as a series of journal entries, said journal being in her niece's possession. The book also uses as a main character Samuel Clemens, better known as Mark Twain.
