FAYETTE PINKNEY One Degree. Posted on March 1, 2013 by admin. All of the songs are rather short I should perhaps warn you; nonetheless, this is a fantastic re-release of a rare album, and a must for fans of that genre. Claudia A, music-news.

She enrolled in Temple University to study psychology and, in 1985, she was awarded a master's degree in human services at Lincoln University, Pennsylvania. She subsequently worked as an education co-ordinator at the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania, and since 2001 she had been an intake counsellor at United Behavioral Health, in Philadelphia. Fayette Pinkney was a founder member and a mainstay of the vocal group between 1963 and 1976, and featured on an impressive run of memorable hit singles, including "Year Of Decision", "Get Your Love Back" and "Take Good Care Of Yourself". The music of this album is very nice, but this edition on CD isn't. Unfortunately this release is a vinyl rip. You can hear clicks and other disturbing noises like on an old LP. This album deserves a good remastering ! I hope another company will do a better job very soon. Big Break Records ? Funky Town Grooves ? We will see...
