The Mumbai progressive rock/metal band put their sloppy debut EP behind them with a louder, heavier full-length debut album. Anurag Tagat Apr 09, 2014. It was in May last year that Mumbai progressive rock/metal band Midhaven made their mark, rather unremarkably, when they launched their debut EP Tales From The Tide. The four-piece band’s performance was far from flawless. Their debut full-length album, Spellbound follows the story of Shiva as he battles gods from Greek and Norse mythology, a concept inspired by video games such as God of War.

Spellbound’ is a concept album with the plot influenced by Greek and Indian mythology and by popular games like the God of War series and Skyrim. The story follows a central character taking his revenge on the Gods. The cover shows us this character and it looks quite cool. Midhaven - The Third Eye/Shiva live at Insurgence . Midhaven is - Karan Kaul Aviraj Kumar Aditya Mohanan Jason D'souza. s from their debut album Spellbound released via Universal Music.

Midhaven was founded by Karan, Shreyas and Abhishek back in 2011. The band met outside HR and KC college back in early 2011, where they started a project called 'Temple Smoke' where they had a lighter sound. By 2012, They had played gigs around the city of Mumbai, and started venturing out to other cities such as Pune and Bangalore. After a couple of festivals in Pune and Mumbai, Midhaven went back into the studio for a full length album entitled 'Spellbound'. They went back to the studio to work with their long time producer and friend Jordan Veigas (Jordan Veigas Music Productions).
