A chilli-pot of New Orleans jazz, old country fiddling, big-band swing, ragtime, blues, pop and mariach. t dominated Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and beyond - all the way from San Francisco in the west, Memphis in the east - from the mid-Thirties till mid-Elvis. Leon McAuliffe on steel guitar, Gene Gassoway, Joe Holley and possibly Curly Lewis or Johnny Gimble on fiddles, Billy Jack Wills on Bass, Eldon Shamblin on lead guitar, Tommy Duncan as vocalist on horse opposite Bob Wills.
