Mankind Resistance isn’t a bad album, but there’s a lot keeping it from being the tasty metal fun that it could be. The soundalike songwriting could be justified by a more refined vocalist, and the sloppy vocals could work with more distinct songwriting. Having both setbacks on here is a detriment in such a highly saturated niche. I know most people just hear the same Iron Maiden worship no matter what band is on, but as it stands there are better choices out there than Iron Hunter. Highlights: Save the World Star Chaser Blood, Fire and Steel.
