Bobby Vinton Greatest Hits Bobby Vinton's Early Life, Music Career, His Later Career and Top Ten Hits. However, in 1971, Epic Records dropped Bobby Vinton from his contract. After Vinton was turned down by six major labels, ABC Records bought Vinton’s idea, and the result was a multi-million selling single that hit on the Hot 100, on the Cashbox Top 100 chart, and on the Adult Contemporary chart in 1974
Bobby Vinton's Greatest Hits is a 12-track compilation by Bobby Vinton. It was released in September 1964, two months after his album Tell Me Why. By the end of summer 1964, Vinton had had eleven Billboard Top 40 hits (including three No. 1's), prompting Epic Records to compile his first greatest hits album.
