Tangle Edge biography TANGLE EDGE is a norwegian music group that plays a kind of music that is purely instrumental and mixes improvisation with written parts. Stylistic they combine rock with elements of jazz, etnic and classical music. Though their style is very personal and unique blend, they have by their audience been categorized as differently as progressive rock, krautrock, free- jazz, space rock, canterbury rock, psychedelia, jazz- rock and experimental rock. Since 1989 they have released four CD's, and toured England, Russia, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and Norway. TANGLE EDGE Videos (YouTube and more).

TANGLE EDGE& first release containing new material since 2008, is ready to land during May 2016. The new double-LP, Infinity Steps Back, is as usual, recorded in the band& own studio. Without the use of any post-recorded overdubs, the music has a live-in-the-studio feel to it, and presents the band exploring a variety of new and different moods and rhythm patterns, all with a thunderous sound. e kinda take no prisoners attitude in most of the included pieces  .
