Recorded during Radiohead's 2001 tour, it comprises eight performances of songs from their fourth and fifth albums Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001).
Live album from 2001 when Kid A and Amnesiac were the current cuts. Great live music courtesy of the incredibly talented 5 gentlemen from England
Since then, it has appeared in Radiohead setlists, and on their live album I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings in 2001. Fans consider it one of Thom Yorke’s best moments as a songwriter. The song is the only I Might Be Wrong track that did not feature on either 2000’s Kid A or 2001’s Amnesiac. A recording was attempted during these sessions, but was ultimately scrapped. In a 2012 interview, producer Nigel Godrich said of the track
Like most Radiohead shows, I Might Be Wrong opens with "The National Anthem. The song's introduction, with Thom Yorke breathing in staccato over Colin Greenwood's thunderous bassline and Jonny Greenwood's skillful manipulation of the primitive Ondes-Martenot, is absolutely wonderful. Without a horn section, though, the song never really develops as it does on Kid A, trailing off without a satisfying conclusion

While it seems as though Radiohead could have made it into a cohesive album if they had wanted to, or at least made this one sound like it was one show, what listeners find here is an uneven and incoherent set of Kid A sessions material that is sometimes strong but sometimes uninspired. When strong, the band seems as if it's in command by adding new texture and content. Like Spinning Plates," "Everything in Its Right Place," and "Idioteque" are revelatory and at times feel almost new. Meanwhile, the track "I Might Be Wrong" just doesn't match.
I Might Be Wrong' is Radiohead trashing the notion that 'Kid A' and 'Amnesiac' were difficult and sterile studio bound affairs. While some moments are absolutely stellar, I Might Be Wrong is only a shadow of what a Radiohead live album could have been. New Musical Express (NME).
