Kareful, born Jude Kaufman, is the poster child of the movement that started in 2015 and he's about to release the album in question. This music isn't really made for the club (Plastician notes that a lot of the tracks open with odd numbers of beats and are often difficult to mix together), but more to be enjoyed as pieces of music rather than as "club tracks", and there are certainly no "bangers" in the traditional sense.

This album is another brilliant achievement from Deluge Grander. This is one of those albums I want to listen to again when it's done. Surprisingly, it didn't take as many listens to absorb it as August In The Urals did; perhaps because I knew what to expect and could follow more easily the structure of the different pieces. Just like Wobbler's second album, the trouble with Deluge Grander's sophomore work is that it tries too hard to be progressive rock.

The Deluge has the most effective layout of any Manilla Road record. The album starts with several shorter and more aggressive tracks which are followed by two massive epics. The Deluge then closes off with a blistering fast instrumental that shows off Mark’s innate ability to write guitar solos. There’s an incredible array of variety found among the songs and I’ve never found myself bored listening to this record.
