Terry Oldfield - Angel album flac

Terence Oldfield (born 12 August 1949) is an English composer, and brother to Sally and Mike Oldfield. Born in Palmers Green, North London, Oldfield and his siblings were raised in the Roman Catholic faith of their mother, Maureen. Oldfield spent his childhood partly in Dublin and partly in Reading, Berkshire. He later attended a Benedictine monastery school and also spent a few terms at the Oratory School in Woodcote, Oxfordshire.

A new album by Terry Oldifeld is now out, entitled Guardian Angel. Terry gives the following presentation: Music that speaks of the great voyage that we souls in human form are destined to undertake – It is a tribute to all those who have dared to set sail through uncharted seas. And: Writing and playing music is a wonderful tool for me. It brings the whole maelstrom of thinking to a halt. I’m sure any artist would say the same, that the creative process is so rewarding in this way – that it reconnects or puts the creator in touch with himself, with that inexhaustible flow of energy and power.

Terry Oldfield is the best composer and producer of Ambient music. I purchased this album in my quest to listen to more of Juliana's performances. Unfortunately, nothing here was comparable to the striking songs on her Woman Wisdom album or "Flying" and "Swimming with Dolphins" on Llewellyn and Juliana's Earth Angel album or "Sky Fire (Mandragora)" on Llewellyn's Moonlore album. Terry Oldfield's newest release is a combination of various musical instruments, vocals, and natural sounds. The music ranges from melodic to ambient with a soothing and calming message. The shortest of the five pieces is more than 7 1/2 minutes long, so the moods are sustained, and the listener can be transported into an extended, gentle fantasy.
