Rush is the debut studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on March 1, 1974 by the band's own label Moon Records in Canada and by Mercury Records in the United States and internationally. Their first release shows much of the hard rock sound typical of many of the popular rock bands emerging earlier in the decade. Rush were fans of such bands as Led Zeppelin and Cream, and these influences can be heard in most of the songs on the album.

First up, from 1974, we have Hypnose, a very weird and psychedelic LP on International Music Label featuring fellow ex-Magma member Jannick Top and famous jazz drummer Daniel Humair, among several others. From 1976, the magnificent e mc². A delightful album of space-themed (naturally!) rock instrumentals, it also features the great Andre Ceccarelli on drums and the aforementioned Janick Top on bass. This lossless rip was done by an anonymous individual (thanks!) and ran a bit fast, so I applied some speed correction to make it run at a slower, natural speed.
