Mary, Queen of Scots (1542–1587) was queen regnant of Scotland and queen consort of France. Mary, Queen of Scots may also refer to: Mary II of England (1662–1694), Queen of Scotland, England and Ireland. Mary of Guelders (1434–1463), Queen Consort to James II of Scotland, and the regent of Scotland 1460–1463. Mary of Guise (1515–1560), Queen Consort to James V of Scotland and mother of Mary, Queen of Scots; regent of Scotland 1544–1560.

Mary Queen of Scots is the second and final 1994 album by Eugenius. Several songs on the album were released on singles in 1993; The title track was featured as a B-side to the non-LP single "Caesar's Vein", with "Easter Bunny" being released as the follow-up single. The track "Blue Above the Rooftops" was released as a single to support the album in 1994. The track "Home Sick" is only featured on the American release of the album and elsewhere was used as a B-side. The B-side "Green Bed" from the "Caesar's Vein" EP also. All songs by Eugene Kelly. On the Breeze" - 3:15. Blue Above the Rooftops" - 3:00. The Moon's a Balloon" - 4:53.

Includes FREE MP3 version of this album. The Scottish group Eugenius were a spin-off of the group the Vaselines. They issued two albums on the Atlantic label in the 1990s. Mary Queen of Scots originally came out in 1994 and has been out of print for years. Fans have been clamoring for it's re-release.

1. Mary Queen Of Scots Lyrics

Although the critical buzz upon its 1994 release was that Eugenius' second and final album was a marked disappointment in comparison to their debut, Oomalama, that line of thought doesn't hold up upon listening. Mary Queen of Scots is less immediate than Oomalama and its more sedate sound takes a few listens to sink in, especially on the obsessively repetitive opener, "Pebble/Shoe" (which recalls the minimalist pop of Eugene Kelly's first band, the Vaselines)
