John Arthur Davidson (born February 27, 1953) is a Canadian professional ice hockey executive and former player. He is the current president of the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). As a player, he played for the St. Louis Blues and New York Rangers in the NHL. He is also well known as a long-time hockey broadcaster

He has recorded twelve albums and performed in various musicals. Davidson was also a featured guest on several of The Carpenters TV specials.

John Davidson is general counsel and group company secretary at SAB Miller, one of Europe’s largest brewing companies. He joined the company in 2006 after spending most of his career at Lovells, the City law firm. Educated at Oxford and Chester College of Law, Davidson joined Lovells in 1983 and became a partner in 1991. He is vice-chair of the GC100, a lobby group of the UK’s most influential in-house lawyers.
