The Geto Boys is a remix album by the Geto Boys released in 1990. The album contains one track from the group’s debut album Making Trouble (1988), 10 from its previous album Grip It! On That Other Level (1989), and two new songs. All tracks on the album were re-recorded, remixed and revamped by acclaimed producer Rick Rubin with his protégé Brendan O'Brien. The cover of the album resembles The Beatles' album Let It Be, and the songs attracted much controversy upon the album’s release.

Thing is, those three albums packed more punch AND all had a couple of classic singles to give the albums that extra shine. To The 5 Boroughs is the purest Hip Hop album in the Beastie Boys’ entire catalog, and probably because of that fact the most underrated and underappreciated of the bunch. I always loved it, though – I’ve always been more a fan of the Hip Hop Beastie Boys than of the punk-rock Beastie Boys and this album gave me exactly what I wanted: some good ol’ Hip Hop. Even though musically it is the most ding of all the Beastie Boys albums, that doesn’t make To The 5 Boroughs worse than the rest.
So, I just started playing the beat with my mouth. It just came naturally. As a Roctober critic wrote in 2002, The (Fat Boys’) record becomes sublime when that inhuman beat box mixes with its human counterpart. For those that needed more, the amazing track Human Beat Box was the best two minutes-plus of fun to come out on wax in 1984. Like their first single, the entire Fat Boys album was produced by old-school legend Kurtis Blow, who played their chauffeur in that first video. Living in New York City during those days, I remember when b-boys blasted Fat Boys tracks from their JVC boom boxes. In my Harlem hood, every radio bumped those two tracks as much as Run-DMC’s popular It’s Like That. Indeed, back in those days there was no shame being down with their music, as brothers recited the words to catchy songs like Stick’Em and Fat Boys while nodding their domes.
Just The Beginning A Pipeline Organization. For many students, particularly students of color and those from low-income backgrounds, the path to law school or a successful legal career is not always clear. JTB works to illuminate that path by lighting the spark of recognition that it is possible to become a lawyer and a leader. JTB-APO is a multiracial, nonprofit organization that has served the legal community for nearly 25 years. It is dedicated to developing and nurturing interest in the law among young persons from various socioeconomic, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds underrepresented in the legal profession and to supporting their continued advancement. By acting as a continual advocate for diversity and higher education, JTB sustains a cycle of academic and professional achievement and role models for underserved communities with a high proportion of at-risk-students.
