Meliah Rage is an American power metal band from Boston, formed in 1987 by Anthony Nichols. They are characterized primarily as thrash metal with more classical metal melodies. The band name was inspired by the 'Meliah' Indian tribe's practice of taking opium before going into battle. The band also recorded a song titled "These Scars".
