Redirected from The Warfare EP). The Cooper Temple Clause were an English alternative rock band, formed in Wokingham, Berkshire in 1998. The band released three albums before announcing their split on 24 April 2007, following the departure of Daniel Fisher. After signing a record deal with the RCA label in 2000 and putting out several singles and EPs, their debut album See This Through and Leave was released in 2002 to great critical acclaim.

Lead track from the Reading-spawned strobe rock maniacs’ second EP is titled ‘Panzer Attack’, and it pretty much does what it says; marching to a sick, banging techno beat while filthy MC5 guitars detonate and singer Ben Gautrey hollers like Motörhead’s Lemmy with his nodules on fire. Awesome, visceral and kind of lobotomised all at once, ‘Panzer Attack’ doesn’t have the Trail Of Dead-meets-Sabbath grandeur of some of the tracks on their debut ‘Hardware EP’, but it’s still deadly effective.
