Up Went Nelson, Off To Dublin In The Green (7").
We are so lucky in Dublin to have such a facility. Four entrances the main one from top of Grafton St. Grab a sandwich or wrap from nearby food stores and wander through the leafy lanes More. Date of experience: May 2015. This peaceful garden in the middle of the city is excellent. It was not only helpful in orienting myself to the city as a whole, it was also great to help me get a little peace! I loved the sculptures and the pond More.
Jack in the Green, also known as Jack o' the Green, is an English folk custom associated with the celebration of May Day. It involves a pyramidal or conical wicker or wooden framework that is decorated with foliage being worn by a person as part of a procession, often accompanied by musicians. The Jack in the Green tradition developed in England during the eighteenth century.

Off To Dublin In The Green. This song is by The Dubliners and appears on the compilation album Collection (1987). Oh, I am a merry ploughboy and I plough the fields all dayTill a sudden thought came to my head, that I should roam awayFor I'm sick and tired of slavery since the day that I was bornAnd I'm off to join the IRA and I'm off tomorrow morn
Not only is Dublin deeply rooted in their incredible history, culture and – well, booze – the people of Dublin are all such characters, as well. Whether they are sharing long-winded stories, singing local songs or telling the odd joke here and there to make you laugh, the locals never fail to put a smile on your face. And, because the city is located right on the east coast, day trips and excursions to the mountains or cliff sides are just a bus ride away, where you can witness some of the most vast and beautiful sceneries in all of Ireland
