Gnosis is the debut studio album by British progressive metal band Monuments. It was released on August 27, 2012 through Century Media Records. The album was produced by founding member and guitarist John Browne. Music videos for the songs "97% Static" and "Regenerate" were released in support of the album. A vinyl pressing of the album was released on October 16, 2015, including a bonus CD of the album's instrumentals.

Gnosis is the fourth album of the British progressive rock band, Gnidrolog. The album's title, Gnosis, means divine or spiritual knowledge and understanding. It is their third studio album and the first to be recorded in 27 years. The album was mostly recorded at Select Sound Studios, Cairns, Australia, where it was engineered and produced by Nigel Pegrum

Like their previous work, Gnosis is an album that is loaded with tons of strong and technical metallic grooves throughout. They are the build of much of the album’s music overall, but each song is diverse enough from each other to keep the listener interested. These grooves are as heavy and pulverizing as they are complex and technical. This album, however, is not just all about the abrasiveness; along with that, there is some good ambience and melody that entwine with the music’s complex brutality flowingly. It’s also well played out, and it summons nice diversity and even more abstraction for Gnosis.

Gnosis, mostly recorded in 1999 and released the next year, marks their comeback as a working unit. This very generous CD (75 minutes) would have gained from a more selective play list: tracks such as the anthem-like "Kings of Rock," bombastic to the point of a Spinal Tap pastiche, could have been left out, as the hippie-folk ballad "Wonder, Wonder.
