OSCAR lists off several special items in his TRASH collection that he admires; including a tattered & worn sneaker that was given to him as a newborn baby by his MOTHER, a 13-month-old newspaper with smelly, old fish wrapped inside, a defective clock, an old telephone, a broken umbrella, & a RUSTY trombone.

Oscar the Grouch is a character on the television program Sesame Street. Although the term "Grouch" aptly describes Oscar's misanthropic interaction with the other characters, it also refers to his species.

This is from a song from an album called "SleepyTime Bird" where all the characters are trying to help Big Bird get to sleep. Oscar tries his hand at a song called "The Grouch's Lullaby" which helps at first but Oscar ends up waking Bird up just cause he's a grouch.
