From Beginning to End (Portuguese: Do Começo ao Fim) is a 2009 Brazilian romantic drama film directed by Aluizio Abranches, starring Fábio Assunção, Júlia Lemmertz, Gabriel Kaufmann, Lucas Cotrim, João Gabriel Vasconcellos and Rafael Cardoso. It premiered in Brazil on November 27, 2009. The film deals with homosexuality and incest, two types of relationships that are often considered to be taboos. Abranches claims that his only intention was to tell a love story.

My husband and I only saw the Abbey from the outside as we were on a budget holiday, but it looks really beautiful and seems to be well-maintained. We did go into the surrounding forests, though, and it was an absolutely mesmerising experience.

Lines Composed a Few Miles Above Tintern Abbey, like many of Wordsworth’s early poems, takes the form of a monologue in the first-person voice of the poet, written in blank verse-unrhymed iambic pentameter. Because the rhythm of many of the lines has subtle variations on the fundamental pattern of five iambic feet (da DUM, da DUM, da DUM, da DUM, da DUM) and because there are no strict end-rhymes, the poem must have seemed like prose to its first readers, who were accustomed to the strict metrical and rhyming forms and the elevated poetic diction. And in a few places, separated by one or more lines, there are full rhymes and repeated end-words, which create a special emphasis simply because they are so rare in the poem: thee.

The Romantics included poets, novelists, and even.

Description of Tintern Abbey from Observations on the River Wye and several parts of South Wales by William Gilpin. William Gilpin’s Observations on the River Wye and several parts of South Wales (1800) describes the picturesque qualities of the ruins of Tintern Abbey, and contrasts them with the miserable living conditions of those who worked nearby. But ‘Tintern Abbey’ is distinguished from other writings on this subject written in the late 18th century by its complex integration of landscape description, self-reflection and sheer philosophical ambition. After the opening description the speaker claims that he owes to the memory of his initial visit ‘sensations sweet, Felt in the blood and felt along the heart’ that have calmed and restored him in difficult times.

We arrived at Tintern at the end of a long day that included stops at Carreg Cennen and Raglan castles as we headed back toward London. Part of what makes Tintern so special is its picturesque setting. Founded by 12th century Cistercian monks, the abbey sits serenely amid the hills of the Wye river valley. Framed by rolling green hills on all sides, Tintern is easily the most beautifully situated of the abbeys we visited. The village of Tintern is tiny
