ABBA is the third (second internationally) studio album by the Swedish pop group of the same name. It was originally released on 21 April 1975 through Polar Music and featured the hits "Mamma Mia" and "SOS". Following the Eurovision success of "Waterloo", ABBA saw the band gaining worldwide recognition. I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do" topped the charts in Australia, as did "Mamma Mia" shortly after. SOS" and "Mamma Mia" became hits in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
The Album is the fifth studio album by the Swedish pop group ABBA. The album was released in conjunction with ABBA: The Movie, with several of the songs featured in the film. Altogether the album contained nine songs.

ABBA-The Album" takes it one step further. It pretty much follows the typical ABBA formula; beautiful melodies, strong harmony singing, and attention to detail but this time around the majority of the songs are longer with meaningful lyrics. The opening track is the under-rated "Eagle" which boasts a soaring melody, interesting lyrics, outstanding vocals and exquisite guitar work. This is one of the few albums where you can hear it the way it was intended- uncut
The compilation album "I Love ABBA" was the first in the "I love. - series and it was released at the beginning of October by Polystar in West Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The LP/MC contained 16 songs - 14 performed by ABBA and 2 performed by respective Agnetha and Frida solo. The track listing featured both ABBA hits and several songs which never had been released on singles as for example "Andante Andante", "Move On" and "Arrival".
