Another Country is a studio album by singer-songwriter Tift Merritt. It was recorded in the summer of 2007, produced in . by George Drakoulias, and released on February 26, 2008 by Fantasy Records. For her third album, Tift Merritt took hiatus with a piano in Paris and came home with her most personal and powerful songs to date. Merritt has described the writing as a plainspoken look at the distance we all attempt to cross: between two people, between one heart and the rest of the world.

In Euclidean geometry, a convex quadrilateral with at least one pair of parallel sides is referred to as a trapezoid (/ˈtræpəzɔɪd/) in American and Canadian English but as a trapezium (/trəˈpiːziəm/) in English outside North America. The parallel sides are called the bases of the trapezoid and the other two sides are called the legs or the lateral sides (if they are not parallel; otherwise there are two pairs of bases)

Now under trapezoid you can have a special trapezoid called an isosceles trapezoid and just like a isosceles triangle an isosceles trapezoid has two congruent sides so the non-congruent sides are congruent and the base angles are congruent Let’s look at the isosceles triangle more carefully. This one is not an isosceles trapezoid, it is a traditional This one is an isosceles. I will redraw the isosceles trapezoid so you can see another characteristic of an isosceles trapezoid

The area of a trapezoid is given by the formula. where b1, b2 are the lengths of each base h is the altitude (height). Recall that the bases are the two parallel sides of the trapezoid. The altitude (or height) of a trapezoid is the perpendicular distance between the two bases. As you drag any vertex, you will see that the trapezoid redraws itself keeping the height and bases constant. Notice how the area does not change in the displayed formula. The area depends only on the height and base lengths, so as you can see, there are many.

Country by country, region by region, and even teacher by teacher, the definitions of trapezoid and trapezium are commonly swapped. Achyuth Bharadwaj, studied at Computer Science Engineering. A trapezoid is a three dimensional figure which has six planes, four planes are trapeziums & two squres each trapezium is connected with two other trapeziums & both the squares. each squres is connected with four trapzium( ie. a trapezium & a square has one common side, the two squares have no common sides). It somewhat looks like the 1000lb. weights shown in Tom & Jerry cartoon. or the HP printer ink carton or if you cut a prism down parallel to its base, you will finnd another prism & a trapezoid. ok! A trapezium is a planar geometrical figure(2D) which has four sides, two.

Surely something more rambunctious than Victor Bateman's Another Country. Country it is: the album offers a fine blend of traditional tunes like "Worried Man Blues," "Streets of Laredo," and "I've Been Working on the Railroad"; time-tested standards like "Some of These Days" and "Lovesick Blues"; along with a handful of original songs. But the difference alluded to in the album's title is actually surprisingly small.
