The discography of Canadian alternative rock band Barenaked Ladies consists of 11 primary studio albums, three themed studio albums, 41 singles, two live albums, two greatest hits compilations, and three video releases. This list does not include material recorded by band members individually or with other side projects. Barenaked Ladies was formed in 1988 by Steven Page and Ed Robertson, both singer-songwriter guitarists.
The Second Family Band is a musical collective from Madison, Wisconsin. They came together in 2007, rising from the ashes of the very prolific free-folk outfit Davenport. Their musical style, difficult to categorize, owes more to freeform jazz, psychedelic rock, and experimental avant-garde music than to traditional folk music, and may be loosely attributed to such genres as free folk, psych folk, freak-folk, acid folk, wyrd folk or New Weird America.
After adding a few new members, the band made their first commercial release, 1991’s The Yellow Tape which was sent to and subsequently rejected by every label in Canada. The band began to sell the tape at their shows and as demand increased, record shops were forced to stock the tape to keep customers happy. Grinning Streak, however, is superb - classic Barenaked Ladies songwriting full of plays-on-words and tions, and great production in a mix of styles.
Artist: John Lennon Album: Unfinished Music No. 1: Two Virgins Release Date: Nov. 29, 1968 John Lennon's personal and musical experimentation during the late '60s can be attributed in part to his newfound love, Yoko Ono. The couple's album showed them nude, but a brown flap was placed over the record for sales purposes. After many disapproved of the nudity, the album cover was changed to a pine bush, sans sexy ladies in front.

As the Internet released their debut album digitally at the end of 2011, this dreamy, dark duo benefitted from their relationship with the controversial hip-hop crew Odd Future, just on mentions in the press. It's beneficial, as Purple Naked Ladies is actually a diminutive and often humble album that easily drifts into the background, even with a flippant treatment of "Cocaine" (here, a metaphor for hot sex rather than a life-ruining drug) and song titles like "Violet Nude Women" or "C nt
