They had first met at school, and started creating music together in early 1990s. They initiated their own studio called Miletos in 1997, the same year their project was named Mr Velcro Fastener

Otherside, the second production long-player from the Finnish duo, balances stark, darkside electro straight out of the Detroit/Dutch school with a more understated, nocturnal brand of electronic music more in keeping with Plaid and Metamatics. The opener, "I Hear You," is a beautiful slice of down-tempo electronica, but the very next track ("Esc") is deep, squelchy, and full of the guttural vocals expected from any act with artistic ties to Drexciya or I-F.
