Eminence Front" is a song written and sung by Pete Townshend of The Who. It appears as the sixth track on the group's 1982 studio album, It's Hard. The single reached number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100. Lead singer Roger Daltrey, vocally critical of the album, described "Eminence Front" as the only song on it that he felt was worthy of being released. In the song, Townshend sings about the delusions and drug use of the wealthy and hedonistic.

Album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. Stay Together for the Kids Lyrics. It's hard to wake up, when the shades have been pulled shut This house is haunted, it's so pathetic, it makes no sense at all I'm ripe with things to say, the words rot and fall away What stupid poem could fix this home, I'd read it every day. So here's your holiday Hope you enjoy it this time, you gave it all away It was mine, so when you're dead and gone Will you remember this night, twenty years now lost It's not right.

It's hard to wake up, when the shades have been pulled shut This house is haunted, it's so pathetic, it makes no sense at all I'm ripe with things to say, the words rot and fall away If this stupid poem could fix this home, I'd read it every day. This song was released as the third and final single from the album on the 19th of February 2002. Guitarist Tom DeLonge based these lyrics on his parents' divorce and its effect on him. A wrecking ball, that destroys a house the band performs in in the song's original music video, is a metaphor for divorce.

You, I, we die It's so hard to take This time, I'll fly We won't ever break It's all I know You can't ever say You, I, we die It's so hard to take This time, I'll fly We won't ever break It's all I know You can't ever say. The end just never comes, ooh-ah End just never comes, ooh-ah End just never comes, ooh-ah The end just never comes, ooh-ah End just never comes, ooh-ah End just never comes, ooh-ah. It is believed that the song is related to a relationship that X was in which ended poorly and left X in a state of depression. A sad, dark tone is very present in not only the beat, but in his voice. X can even be heard sighing and sniffling in different parts of the song. While the song was originally the intro to The Fall, X also decided to reuse it two years later as the outro to WILLY WONKA WAS A CHILD MURDERER.

Bowie tried to do a vocal take, noted it wasn’t late enough in the evening ( I won’t be able to record anything till about half past five ); he drifted in and out of the conversations, perking up when the talk turned to UFOs. Springsteen left at 5 AM. Bowie never played him the cover of It’s Hard to Be a Saint, partly because Bowie wasn’t happy with the track, which he soon shelved

How long will it take To make the earth a fireball How long will it take Till no more life exists at all How long will it take Till everybody will understand That we need to fill our hearts with love again. It's up to you To fight the evil in your mind It's up to you The more love you give, the more you'll find The more love you give, the more you'll find. Don't make the world a flaming stra Stop, stop all these senseless wars How long will it take Till everybody will understand That we need to fill our hearts with love again. Blackout is the eighth studio album released in 1982 on EMI Germany Records and Mercury Records.
