Loyal" is a song by American singer Chris Brown, released as the fourth single from his sixth studio album X (2014). The song was produced by Nic Nac and Mark Kragen and features a guest appearance from fellow rapper Lil Wayne and another rapper depending on the version. French Montana and Too Short feature on the East and West Coast version respectively while Tyga features on the video and album version.

Chris Brown's official music video for 'Loyal' ft. Lil Wayne & Tyga. I wasn't born last night I know these hoes ain't right But you was blowing up her phone last night But she ain't have her ringer nor her ring on last night, oh Nigga, that's that nerve Why give a bitch your heart When she rather have a purse? Why give a bitch your inch When she rather have nine? You know how the game goes She be mine by half time, I'm the shit, oh Nigga, that's that nerve You all about her, and she all about hers Birdman Junior in this bitch, no flamingos And I done did everything but trust these hoes (CB fuck with me!)

Produced by Brian Wilson, the album was recorded to coincide with the band's 50th anniversary. It is their first album to feature original material since Summer in Paradise in 1992, their first album to feature guitarist and backing vocalist David Marks since Little Deuce Coupe in 1963, and their first album since the 1998 death of co-founder Carl Wilson.

In September 2016, Lucero had the boys flown out to Los Angeles where they officially became Why Don’t We. The impulsive career shift even inspired their name. Next year, Why Don’t We will prepare their debut album and embark on largely sold-out tour. They will have competition with other boy bands gunning to the void left by One Direction ’s split last year, Simon Cowell’s new group, PrettyMuch, and K-pop hitmakers BTS, both of whom are prepping for big career moves in 2018. Why Don’t We aren’t worried. If you think about it, back when ‘NSYNC and Backstreet Boys were going, you had 98 Degrees, LFO and a bunch of different groups in America alone who were out at the same time and all successful. There’s millions of people out in the world and the market is huge. Curve Records CEO Steve Greenberg, who discovered Hanson and the Jonas Brothers, agrees.

Loyal Lyrics: Young Mula, baby!, Haha, you thought it was over?, I wasn't born last night, I know these hoes ain’t right, But you was blowing up her phone last night, But she ain’t have he. Why give a bitch an inch when she'd rather have nine? You know how the game goes, she be mine by halftime, I’m the shit, oh Nigga, that’s that nerve You all about her, and she all about hers Birdman Junior in this bitch, no flamingos And I done did everything but trust these hoes CB fuck with me! When a rich nigga want you And your nigga can't do nothing for ya These hoes ain’t loyal These hoes ain’t loyal Yeah, yeah, let me see. Just got rich Took a broke nigga’s bitch I can make a broke bitch rich But I don’t fuck with broke bitches.

The album is a record of two halves - or sides, in case the band was thinking back to famous side-by-side classics like 1965's Today! The first half is mostly upbeat, with highlights "Isn't It Time" and the title track evoking pleasant curios from late-'60s LPs like Wild Honey or Friends. The second half is largely reflective, with songs that reveal the band's feelings about time passing and life ending (much more than any other material in their entire careers). Granted, no latter-day Beach Boys record comes without missteps, but fortunately there are only tw. .
