Cha-cha-chá is a genre of Cuban music. It has been a popular dance music which developed from the Danzón-mambo in the early 1950s, and became widely popular throughout the entire world. Cha-cha-chá is a Cuban music genre whose creation has been traditionally attributed to Cuban composer and violinist Enrique Jorrín, who began his career playing for the charanga band Orquesta América.

Some of the most famous cha cha cha songs include Oye Como Va, which has been performed by many Latin artists over the years. El Bodeguero is another popular choice. You’ll note that several more mainstream tunes are also included on this list of cha cha songs, and with good reason. If they fit the tempo, they’re perfect for dancing. These include Whatever Lola Wants by Della Reese, Carino by Jennifer Lopez, and I Need to Know by Marc Anthony.

Still the Orchestra Plays - Greatest Hits, Volume 1 & 2 is a greatest hits compilation album by the American heavy metal group Savatage, released in 2010. The title for the compilation was taken from the lyrics in the title track to the band's 1989 release, Gutter Ballet. It was the first release of any kind by the band in almost nine years. The final three tracks on the second disc were brand new acoustic recordings made by Jon Oliva in 2009, featuring him on lead vocals

The Cha-Cha is basically a triple rhythm Mambo 3 step rhythm to two beats of music, usually slower done in 4/4 time, around 126 beats per minute. The dance may have been introduced to the world by a British dance teacher 'Pierre Leville' who noticed that the Rumba was occasionally danced with a couple of extra steps. The Cha-Cha or Triple Mambo is basically a triple rhythm Mambo (3 step rhythm to two beats of music, usually slower) done in 4/4 time, around 126 beats per minute. He brought the idea back with him to Europe around 1952. There are Sheet Music covers and a few stage plays done in the 1930's which may have some connection to the Cha-Cha as well. Cha-Cha became popular around 1955 in the USA.

The cha-cha-cha (or simply the cha-cha) is a Cuban dance that’s named after the Cuban composer Enrique Jorrin. Jorrin was a violinist and composer back in the 1950s who played the danzon, donzonette, and danzon-mambo at dance halls in Havana. However, due to the syncopated rhythm of the danzo-mambo, he noticed that many dancers had difficulty in keeping up with the rhythm. His solution was to create music that dancers could easily dance to – a triple-step footwork that creates the cha-cha-cha sound. The cha-cha is often danced to authentic Cuban music, Latin Pop, or Latin Rock.
