Shine a Light is the fourteenth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams, released on March 1, 2019 by Polydor Records. The album's title track, co-written by Ed Sheeran, was released on January 17, 2019. The album debuted at number one on the Canadian Albums Chart. All-girl quartet Shine MK is poised to invade the American-heavy CCM genre with its brash and bold sound. With a nice mixture of covers and original material, their debut album Do It Right hits some solid chords with a touch of alternative sound sure to appeal to a large number of youthful CCM fans. The opening track "Do It Right" is a hip-hoppy, bouncy tune screaming for dancehall time, as is the following track "I Feel Good. In fact, the dancehall feel doesn't really let up through the whole album, and yet the lyrics are all solidly in the uplifting column expected.
