Sense Field was an American rock band from Southern California, formed in 1991 following the demise of Chris Evenson and Jon Bunch's previous outfit, Reason To Believe. The band broke-up in 2004, although they briefly reformed for two Revelation Records' anniversary shows in 2012 and 2013 as well as a pair of Jon Bunch memorial shows in 2016. The album, initially titled "Under The Radar" but released as Tonight and Forever, arrived in September 2001 via the Canadian independent label Nettwerk. While Sense Field had been considered an influential band within their scene since their inception, the band achieved commercial success in 2002 with the single "Save Yourself. Dharma is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow. The title refers to the Buddhist concept. No Sound, No Memory" refers to the second-to-last line of the novel The Decay of the Angel by Yukio Mishima. Marimo Kitty is a Hello Kitty combined with a marimo. All music composed by Masami Akita. Final mix on January 9, 2001. Masami Akita – performer, photography. Colour Climax – artwork. Jenny Akita – design.
Sense Field's first national and international tours preceded their second album, 1996's Building. A shift in bandmembers, however, plagued the group at the height of it all. McPherson left to play drums for Elliott Smith's band in 1999, allowing Rob Pfeiffer to step in. Several EPs and 7" singles - the Part of the Deal EP on the Grape OS label and a split release with Onelinedrawing - appeared before the decade's end. The year 2001 began on an up note, though. Tonight and Forever, Sense Field's fourth full-length, was issued on Nettwerk in summer 2001
