Not as good Future Funk 1 but still some great tracks here. CD2 better than CD1 as it holds some truly memorable ambient sounds produced back then. An atmospheric selection of surreal and trippy underground. CD1 was more big beat orientated and hyper which is different to Future funk 1 in that this collection held a variety of styles such as dub, triphop, jungle, ambient, techno and more. FF2 is definately a harder collection but some great tracks for me to use when creating ambient mixes. I loved the rave scene and acid scene from 88 to 94 and it was an important time in the birth of various experimental sounds - this cd is really the result of the evolving dance and dub music eras branching off into the various directions. And it continued to do so for several years.

important compilation that time and the youngest who did not live that time will help them get an idea of good electronic music in those years to 90. CD1 is more danceable and funky breakbeats laden, bigbeats, DNB and techno, while CD2 is more calm charged ambient, downtempo and trip hop. For completeness I would get and not the prodigy, the chemical brothers, lunatic calm but ultimately such a good orientation of what was done at that time. 7.5. Juandibreakbeat.
