Locked Groove presents his debut album - Sunset Service. Employing strands from multiple influences that inform his diverse musical output, he applies a contemporary lens to fragments of EBM, New Beat, trance, rave and techno. Written over a one year period with combination of analog and digital equipment at his Berlin studio, Sunset Service documents the synthesis of a carefully studied musical background into one coherent body of work  . Locked Groove has made quite a name for himself in recent years. Hotflush mainstay, Turb. r. hortstay and remixer of choice for a variety of killer imprints, including WPH (Orange). Being from Belgium and blessed with a healthy dose of Absurdistan humour it was only logical for him to join our ranks and so here he is with his WPH full . Musically we just told him ‘to do whatever he wanted to do’, and so his love for Detroit and Belgian trance vibes are shining firmly on both ‘Aquarius’ and ‘Latency (Sunrise Mix)’.

A locked groove simply never advances; the groove changes from the spiral it was on the way in to a closed circle. Many of us have experienced the heartbreak of a home-made locked groove, . a "broken record," that repeats a phrase ad infinitum until one gets off the couch and picks up the tone arm and manually advances the needle. Along the way, someone figured out that the "runout groove" was arable land waiting to be seized.
