Artist : We Insist! Album : Oh! Things Are So Corruptible We Insist! are arguably scrutinizing the rock scene with the utmost care. They are always keen on being influenced by other bands, from whichever end of the rock spectrum: they try such influences out on themselves and see whether they fit or not. QOTSA, At the Drive-in, Tool, Shellac, Primus: you will find their traces in this record. But, most importantly, you will travel in a moon-like, weird and psychotic landscape, with maybe even a David Lynch dimension to it, and will walk through blurry and dazzling tracks.
Things Are So Corruptible" was recorded by Peter Deimel (The Kills, Chokebore, The Thugs) at Blackbox Studios, mixed by d2r2. off (Eon MegaHerts, Ltno) and mastered by Jean-Pierre Chalbos at La Source. And that is exactly what they have achieved with their new release. Corruptible" was first released on We Insist!'s own label "Corruptible Records" which was distributed in France by Anticraft. We Insist! also received great support and promotion from both the independent radio station community Ferarock, as well as Versus Magazine. Got it. + add. album.

We Insist All albums Oh Things Are So Corruptible.
Oh! Things are so corruptible, their latest album, was released through their own label, Corruptible Records. It is a testimony of their resilience and their independence.
We Insist!, on their third album, make their own claim for space, though Oh! Things Are So Corruptible is a bit of a balance between clearly beloved roots and their own identity. The contrast can best be heard between the music and the singing - if We Insist! clearly have a jones for a variety of under the radar bands from the early to late '90s, especially Girls Against Boys in their strutting, slashing vein, then Etienne Gaillochet's singing adds a compelling smoothness without sounding oily, heard to good effect on songs.
