Val Valentin was the recording supervisor. The original artwork was by Frank Frazetta. In October 1966, the band's UK label, EMI/Columbia, released an album of the same name but with different artwork and track listing. The UK version was re-released on CD in 2000 by Repertoire with bonus tracks that mostly combine the two albums.
